Michelle Aguilar is this season’s Biggest Loser

Last night saw the conclusion of the game/reality show that started with 16 contestants that were morbidly obese. They came to be part of a reality show that focuses on losing weight as well as part of a game in order to win money. Their weight loss journey started just a few months ago and came to an end where their victory was a huge drop in pounds.
Now with the game playing, Michelle and Vicky were in the final round and America voted for the last person to compete from the 2 that fell below the yellow line last week, Ed and Heba. The husband and wife team had a chance to speak to America at the end of the show in order to plead their case on why they should be in the final.  Heba spoke about herself and her journey, Ed just conceded and asked that his wife be put in the final.  After the voting was over, it was a landslide for Ed to be in.  Looks like chivalry was dead with the voters.
Contestants in the $100000 Round were the ones that got eliminated during the show. Here’s the first group that weighed-in:

Now the irony of this all is that Heba won the $100,000

With the last 3 players there was a look at their time since they left the workout ranch. Time after leaving until the live weigh-in was 2 ¬? months.¬† Ed was pushing himself very hard but wrestled with food since he is a chef.¬† Vicky showed that she was on a routine where she was up early to work out and also doing the workout after leaving her job.¬† ¬†She was in tears and said she only lost 2 pounds in seven weeks.¬† Michelle went back to her family and showed them a better way to eat.¬† She went back and worked out determined to beat Heba and Vicky.¬† ¬†The problem was that Heba wasn’t in the final.
The transformations are incredible and the individuals not only lost a tremendous amount of weight, but they look healthy and there is no sagging skin with fast weight loss.¬† I’m not saying that this is a good way or not, but the show is very popular and there are people lined up to be part of the next season.

4 Comments until now
I did not watch. I was too busy watching those Real Housewives of where-evah.
Thanks for this recap though.
I’m glad she won. I hope she wins at keeping it off and has figured out WHY she gained it in the first place. That’s when the real battle begins.

Pod,
Michelle may be one of the ones that gets it and may understand to keep the weight off. I’m not too sure with some of the others on the show.
I hope so for her sake. It’s definitely a BIG struggle until one gets it.
